The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Tuesday

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors
Key items:

  • Continue a local emergency declaration due to swine flu, also known as H1N1. State law requires the Board of Supervisors to declare the emergency every two weeks until the emergency is over.
  • Acceptance of first-quarter budget report for 2009-10 fiscal year, the financial and operating summary for San Joaquin General Hospital.
  • Options for after-hours animal control in unincorporated areas.
  • Temporary moratorium for new Williamson Act applications.
  • Authorize Supervisors Ken Vogel and Larry Ruhstaller, and county Water Resource Coordinator Mel Lytle to lobby federal authorities on Delta legislation in Washington, D.C., from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4. Vogel, Ruhstaller and Lytle, along with officials from Sacramento, Yolo, Solano and Contra Costa counties, will express their concern about the state water measure that will be on next year's ballot. The trip will cost the county an estimated $6,000.
  • Appointment to the Lockeford Municipal Advisory Council.
  • Acceptance of improvements to domestic water well No. 3 and nitrate treatment system in parts of Flag City.
  • Consider two legal settlements, one for $600,000 to Sofia Davila due to the death of Guillermo Davila after his release from San Joaquin County Jail, and one for $50,000 to Blanca Vallecillo for injuries suffered due to an allegedly dangerous condition of a dock at a county dock. County counsel says the settlements are in the county's best economic interests.
  • Workshop on general plan update (1:30 p.m. calendar).
When and where: 9 a.m., county administration building, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.

    " Well, well, well...

Seems the powers that be at LNS can't take a little heat. Nice move deleting my posts, you're just fueling the fire.

So I set up this phony e-mail addy to test a theory. Seems to me ever since I started posting on here my junk mail went thru the roof. So I created this e-mail addy to see if it was the LNS selling addy's. Guess what? They are. In the 5 days since creating this addy and registering on LNS I have recieved 18 junk e-mails and had 38 e-mails go directly into the "spam" folder.

Please tell us LNS, how could this have happened when I only used this addy to register for LNS? Are you selling our addy's?

    Are you folks getting e-mails entitled;

    -Fitness Report
    -Nursing Degree
    -Military Benfits
    -Camyoo
    -Credit Report Center

If you are then we you now know where these leaches are getting your addy from. Richie Hanna and your LNS!

Any comments Richie or are you just going to delete these too? "

    " Neo-

Not sure what hotdogs you are referring to but I'm just borrowing this space to talk to LNS. No meds required. "
