Stockton Ports to host annual run/walk
The Stockton Ports are hosting the 5th Annual Run and Walk Against Hunger event, with 3,500 participants expected next Thursday on Thanksgiving Day.
The event will benefit the Emergency Food Bank of Stockton/San Joaquin and its hunger and nutrition programs.
The event features a 5K run and walk and a 10K run for adults, as well as a mile run for kids ages 9 and under.
Events start at 8 a.m.
Participants can sign up at Fleet Feet in Stockton on Nov. 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on the day of the event, from 6 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
