Young woman fatally shot at Acampo home
A 20-year-old Acampo woman was shot and killed shortly after she arrived home Wednesday night, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.
Britani Coberly and another person arrived at their residence in the 22400 block of North Highway 99 East Frontage Road shortly before 8:40 p.m. Deputies got a call of shots being fired, and they found two victims at the scene just south of Peltier Road.
Coberly was pronounced dead at a local hospital, said Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Dave Konecny. A second victim was treated and released from the hospital.
Officials have not released further information, other than to say that the shooting happened shortly after the victims arrived home. They asked anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Office at (209) 468-4400.

I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief—
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow. "

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Britani was a beautiful young girl, always full of smiles. I pray that the Lord gives you and your family the strength to help heal the pain of such a devistating tragedy. And I pray that someone will come forward with answers to catch the coward who could take the life of such an innocent young woman!
Please let us know if you guys need anything at all or if we can help in any way.

She will truely be missed by all the people who were honored to have known her and were her friend.
We will certainly never forget the wonderful memories that we have.
May the Lord gie you and your family the strength to get through this most horrible situation ever.
