Harry 'Skip' Suekut
Truck owner
Harry "Skip" Harvey Suekut, 57, of Galt, died Nov. 4. He was born in Lodi.
Mr. Suekut was a cowboy at heart and made his way back home to work on various ranches. He also worked at Cattlemens' Livestock Market. He was employed by Marten Transport. He enjoyed trucking and became a owner/operator with the company.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Suekut, of Galt; daughters, Stacy Suekut, Paula Leonard, Amy Van der Veen and Sara Ming; sons, Matthew "Bo" Suekut, Able Suekut and Aaron Suekut; sisters, Donna Pullen, of Camarillo, DiAnn Randleman, of Lake Isabella, and Sharon Skibo, of Woodland; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Harvey Suekut Sr., and mother, Mabel Suekut.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Ben Salas Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Ricketts and Pastor Jim Witcombe officiating.
Ben Salas Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
