Government won't tell truth about health care
My grandfather was the greatest salesman who ever lived — that was before Obama, of course.
I say that not only because of his business acumen, but because he believed that if you just told the truth then you would always have good clients. He also used to say, "If you need to change the name of something more than once, then the name isn't your biggest problem." And so it goes with "government health care."
First, they (Obama and his sales team) called their plan the "single payer," then it morphed into the "public option," to finally evolve into a "co-op with a trigger" — I guess that's so you can blow your head off after you sign up.
What does it all mean? It means that "Team Obama" cannot tell us the truth about their "product" because they know that 80 percent of us won't buy it if we find out what's in it. So they string us along with impassioned rhetoric about our "moral obligation," and how their version of morality will take us toward the satisfaction of our "needs." Please! These people don't know a thing about our needs — like energy and jobs — they only care about what they think we need.
The deception, of course, lies in what we will be forced to sacrifice so that Team Obama can give us what we are allowed to have — smart, aren't they? The problem with their strategy, however, is that it presumes those required to "pay" will do so without the expectation of just compensation.
In other words, Team Obama thinks that those who pay their own bills will gladly pay for someone else. But c'mon — if the "productive class" wanted to subsidize the "non-productive," then we wouldn't be sitting on top of a mountain of unpaid liabilities. Remember the deficit?
And that's what it's really all about, now, isn't it? The government is broke (and broken), and the geniuses in Washington think the only way to save themselves is to build a "bigger program." I'm sorry, but Team Obama's version of socialism is so last century — yes, they can change the name, but they can't change it's malignant spots. Believe it!

-I always enjoy the exchanges we have. I am one of millions who don't have employer provided health ins. And I don't have an extra 1000 a month bucks to insure my family. The liberals have been contending that if you are against
Obama care you are against health insurance reform. You and I know how
dishonest that charge is. They keep on trying to shove down our throats it's their way or the highway. Obama has taught them well the art of Chicago strong-armed politics. "

THE 20 BIG LIES IN THE HEALTHCARE REFORM DEBATE
You can keep your insurance if you like it.
You can keep your doctor if you wish.
US healthcare ranks near the bottom of the industrialized world.
Major cause of bankruptcies is related to medical expenses.
14,000 people per day are dying due to lack of medical insurance.
Most doctors support Obamacare as endorsed by organized medicine (AMA).
Senior citizens will not lose any Medicare benefits.
Insurance premiums will be reduced for most Americans.
This plan will only result in tax increases for the super wealthy.
Proposed HC bills are budget "neutral" and will not add to the federal deficit.
There are only 2 choices: the current system or Obamacare.
The Republicans say NO because they lack and alternative plan.
The public "strongly" supports Obamacare and public option.
There will not be any rationing in healthcare.
The government will not interfere between you and your doctor.
Most doctors oppose HCR legislation so they can preserve their income.
This is a "crisis" situation and needs to be passed into law immediately.
A public option will increase competition and not result in a single payer system. cont. "

How can Stan Taves, who knows interstate health insurance would bring down the costs of health insurance immensely, possibly be a proponent of denying me and Jerome basic health care?
And since when has a government entitlement program made a profit? I suppose Billy is convinced that further government regulation of the health insurance industry and the takeover of 1/6th of nation's economy is the best
course of action for health care reform.

So just how do you propose Saddam was going to obtain fissionable material?

To wit,
1) Pakistani nuclear physicist A. H. Khan, was completely compromised by Valerie Plame. Everything Khan did was under her observation. It is said that Pakistan developed the nuclear weapon by permission from the CIA.
2) Plame was resourceful in preventing North Korea from developing the bomb. Plame was involved in Korea's commitment and expenditure outlay for the WRONG technology. As closely as I could understand, it was the equivalent of developing technology for a "little boy," gun-type device, which would use uranium-235, whereas Korea's nuclear reactors would produce fissionable material for a "fat man" device, which uses plutonium.
3) Iran purchased centrifuge technology which was constructed of the wrong dimensions. Basically, Iran had to go through A.H. Khan, but that was Plame's agent.

Well, what happened was CIA field agent Valerie Plame was responsible for nuclear proliferation throughout the world, and noone moves a nuclear warhead anywhere in the world without her knowing about it.
Cheney's plan must have been so secret that he forgot to inform Valerie Plame.
Well...
Valerie Plame intercepted the nuclear warhead as it was travelling through Turkey, and it never got to Iraq. American troops never discovered a nuclear warhead within Iraq, and the whole Bush-Cheney popularity program did not exactly go according to plan.
Valerie Plame was exposed as a CIA operative when it became obvious that she wasn't cooperating with the Bush-Cheney Iran propoganda campaign, either. "
danielh wrote on Nov 9, 2009 3:36 PM:
Do you remember the Valerie Plame - Joseph Wilson saga. Scooter Libby exposed Valerie Plame because Wilson was speaking of his own experience on his visit to Niger, to uncover information on Saddam Hussein's procurement of yellowcake uranium.
Well, wilson didn't find any, and Cheney didn't appreciate Wilson telling his story. Allegedly, Cheney explained that it was unfortunate that he was married to a CIA agent while he was saying these things.
allegedly as the story went, this was the reason Cheney exposed Wilson's wife as a CIA field agent.
Well.... this isn't the whole story.

Concerning that 2000 page book on health care, reading the front and back page doesn`t mean the entire book was read. If 86% of the American people are happy with their health care, let the government take care of the 14% that don`t have it, providing they can come up with the money to afford it. The Hale Park bunch don`t have a pot to piss in or a window to through it out of, let Obama take care of them and leave me alone. "

I can't argue with you about secrecy on both sides. That is why so many Americans are against this healthcare bill. We are tired of the secrecy, double-talk, back-door deals, lies, and misinformation presented to hide the fact that this is a 2000 page government take over of our entire healthcare system. From the second you are born, until your last breath of air, you are at the mercy of the government for ALL of your healthcare needs. "
