Local students take nationals at FFA
Galt students Isaac Valencia and Dominic Stellato were among the local students to place at the annual National FFA Convention held last month in Indianapolis.

In the same Agriscience Fair, Caitlin Wolford of Lodi was awarded a bronze medal for her project titled, "The Role of Feed Supplements and Their Effect on Hoof Growth in Horses."
Courtney Miller and Shelbi Thall, also of Lodi, were each awarded with a silver medal for their project on the comparison of feeding conventional rabbit feed versus organic rabbit feed on the weight gain of lion head rabbits.
All five local students were successful at the state level before moving onto the national fair. Participants received ribbons along with their medals and were honored at a banquet at the National FFA Convention, Oct. 21-24.
