Patty Paniagua

College: Univ. Alabama Birmingham
The senior middle blocker was named the Conference USA Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Paniagua recorded the first double-double of her career with 12 kills and 11 blocks as the Blazers took league-leading Southern Mississippi to five sets before losing last Sunday. Paniagua recorded six blocks Friday against UCF as UAB opened the weekend with a 3-1 win over the Knights.

The sophomore wide receiver had three catches for 96 yards and TD receptions of 39 and 52 yards in a 55-27 win over Trinity University on Saturday.
