Woodbridge Lodge presents check to Houston School
On Sept. 17, Frank Mills, master of Woodbridge Lodge No. 131 F&AM, presented a check to Michelle Mason, president of the Houston School Parents Club on behalf of Woodbridge Lodge.
The funds will be used to pay expenses related to a field trip to the World of Wonders Science Museum, located at 2 N. Sacramento St., for the first and second grade classes, approximately 50 children.
The museum is a place where both children and adults can learn about the world around them through science. Houston School is located at 4600 E. Acampo Road and it includes grades K-8.
Due to recent budget reductions at the school, field trips of this type have been nearly elminated from the 2009-10 school year. The field trip is expected to occur in mid-October.
