Rotary Club hosted Jerry Adams as speaker
Last week, Jerry Adams, the go-between in the governor’s office of homeland security’s director’s public safety liaison officer. Adams coordinates with law enforcement and various public safety agencies to support OHS’s mission to prevent and if that doesn’t work, prepare for terrorists. He was the Lodi police chief and retired to become the liaison, and no, he is not praying for an invasion of terrorists just so he will have something to do.
Next week, Richard Aschieris will be here. He was here before and he has some very interesting facts to share about the port and the economics and management of that facility. We may even hear a word or two about why the battleship Iowa isn’t there and who tipped the scales in favor of not having her here. There is a lot to the Port of Stockton than meets the eye. You will enjoy Richard’s presentation, to be sure.
Coming up will be a talk by Irene Spencer about her role in a polygamous cult marriage. Her subject is Shattered Dreams and Cult Insanity. She may mention King Solomon and she may not, but he looked kindly on the matter of having wives galore.
