Dustin Taunton elected as president of the Lodi Sunrise Rotary
On July 1, Dustin W. Taunton was inducted to the presidency of the Lodi Sunrise Rotary Club. He is a lifelong resident of Lodi and is a real estate agent and vice president of Ione Real Estate.
Taunton is an active resident of Lodi and uses his musical talents to serve his community. He is a dedicated musician and plays for the Lodi Community Band, The Voice of Truth, a Christ-centered worship band; as well as for the worship team of Bethel Open Bible Church. He is also a member of the board of directors for San Joaquin Valley Men's Ministries.
He has many hobbies including scuba diving and under water photography. He is a black belt and is an instructor at Moore's Shou Shu Karate. He is also an accomplished horseman and motorcycle enthusiast.
Taunton plans to lead the Sunrise Rotary Club in joining other clubs around the region to raise funds for local charities. He also plans to continue the Rotary Rocks series and membership drive.
The Lodi Sunrise Rotary meets Wednesdays from 7 to 8 a.m. at Oak Ridge Winery, 6100 Victor Road.
