Knapp, Thompson wed in June

Troy Knapp, of Elko, Nev., and Jackie Thompson, of Lodi, were married in June.
Knapp graduated from Parkview High School in 1993, and then from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. He is employed as a commercial driver. He is the son of Gerry and Linda Knapp, of Elko, Nev.
Thompson graduated from Lodi High School in 1993, and then from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. She is employed as an auditor. She is the daughter of Donn and Arlene Thompson, of Lodi.
The couple was married on June 20 in an outdoor wedding and reception at Bare Ranch.
The bride wore a strapless satin gown embellished with rhinestones, sequins and pearls. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and orchids accented with her grandmother's antique pin.
The best man was Marcel Hanard, of Phoenix, Ariz., friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Jasin Essary, of Sacramento, friend of the groom; Adam Mettler, of Lodi, cousin of the groom; Bill Maloney, of Fullerton, cousin of the groom; Rick Beale, of Orland, friend of the groom; Cory Knapp, of Saugus, brother of the groom; and Riley Beale, of Orland, friend of the groom.
The matron of honor was Mindy Wheeler, of Valley Springs, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Sarah Thompson, of Sacramento, sister of the bride; Leslie Thompson, of Long Beach, sister of the bride; Kim Mettler-Eells, of Lodi, cousin of the bride; Elizabeth Beale, of Manteca, cousin of the bride; Kelli Mettler, of Lodi, cousin of the bride; Alicia Lopez, of Long Beach, friend of the bride.
The flower girls were Aslyn Eells, Cadence Macom and Kylee Krogstad. The ring bearers were Morgan Wheeler and Carson Knapp.
The greeters were Larry and Charlene Mettler, and Dan and Marilyn Maloney, all aunts and uncles of the bride.
Special guests included Gladys Mettler, of Lodi, grandmother of the bride, and Della Knapp, of Elko, Nev., grandmother of the groom.
The two spent their honeymoon in Maui and Oahu, Hawaii. They have made their home in Elk Grove.
