Brixey, Twitty plan to marry next September at Country Gardens
Jack Brixey and Amber Twitty, both of Lodi, were engaged in September.
Brixey graduated from Liberty High School in 2002. He is employed by J. Milano Co. He is the son of Karla and Jerry Shelton, of Lodi.
Twitty graduated from Lodi High School in 2003. She is employed by TP Orthodontics. She is the daughter of Jayleen and Chad Katzakian, of Lodi, and Tim and Christina Twitty, of Galt.
The couple met at the Lodi Grape Festival through mutual friends. On their one-year anniversary, the couple went back to the Delta King Riverboat, where they had their first date. Brixey got down on one knee and proposed. They announced their engagement on Sept. 19 by calling family and friends.
They plan to marry on Sept. 18, 2010, at Country Gardens in Lodi.
