Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation Summer Fest
Lodi Memorial Hospital held its 24th annual Summer Fest on Saturday.
About 500 people attended and they enjoyed food by 27 area restaurants and wine from Mondavi Winery in a picnic-type atmosphere at the winery. Entertainment was provided by the Backside Kickers and a free raffle and silent auction were held.
The event is the hospital's largest fundraiser of the year. Donna Shaw, director of the foundation, said they raised approximately $80,000.
Shaw said the event exceeded her expectations in the number of people who attended, restaurants that participated and the quality of the food.
"It was just a great night," she said.
