  • Presentation concerning the Healthy Eating Active Living Campaign, and what Lodi can do to promote healthy active lifestyles.

    Galt City Council

    Key items:



  • Consider agreement with Jason Behrmann as city manager. He will replace the retiring Ted Anderson.


  • New Measure A transportation capital allocation for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 fiscal years for the Central Galt interchange project.


  • Presentation by Councilman Andrew Meredith on a possible local hiring ordinance.


  • Adopt new City Council procedural guidelines.


  • Consider awarding a $11.7 million contract with Kaweah Construction Co. to construct wastewater treatment tertiary filtration plant.


  • Consider terminating contract with Odyssey Landscape Co. for the Roundstone Park, Monterey Park and Monterey Bay well and pipeline projects due to the contractor's alleged failure to perform under terms of the contract.

  • Adopt ordinance to reduce speed limit on Moore Road between Highway 12 and Sargent Road. The board introduced the ordinance on Oct. 27.


  • Award contract to expand the parking lot at the Lodi Community Center on South Sacramento Street.


  • Execute notice of completion for paving project at Micke Grove Park.


  • Receive report on Stockton-San Joaquin County library system. The system doesn't include the Lodi Public Library, which is operated by the city.


  • Report on the status of the Williamson Act in San Joaquin County.

    When and where: 9 a.m., county administration building, 44 N. San Joaquin St., Stockton.

  • Receive a report on the environmental reports for widening Highway 5 from Stockton to the southern limits of the White Slough wastewater treatment plant.


  • Receive report on draft environmental impact report for Interstate 5 widening from Stockton to the southerly limits of the White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility.


  • Introduce state video franchise ordinance establishing the obligations of cable operators to providing service in the city of Lodi under a state franchise agreement.


  • Report on possible transit fare Increases and route modifications and consider setting public hearing date.


  • Designate two council members to participate in the selection process for a new electric utility director.

    Lodi Unified School District Superintendent's Budget Advisory Committee

  • Public forum to receive input from teachers, union members, parents and the public on closing a $20 million-plus budget deficit for the 2010-11 school year.

    Mokelumne Rural Fire District board

  • Review draft of 2008-09 fiscal year financial audit.


  • Discuss firefighters' bill of rights.
