The latest news on local athletes who are continuing to play at the college or pro levels.

Matt Davis
Sport: Football
High school: Elliot Christian
College: Azusa Pacific
Davis, a sophomore wide receiver, had five catches for 67 yards in the Cougars' 27-6 loss to Western Oregon on Saturday.

Bobby Shepard
Sport: Football
High school: Lodi
College: Fresno State
Shepard, a sophomore special teams long snapper, was on the field for nine plays, including four PATs, three punts and two field goals in the Bulldogs' 34-3 win over New Mexico State on Saturday.

Dea Cook
Sport: Soccer
High school: St. Mary's
College: UCLA
Cook started and played 90 minutes on defense with a shot on goal as UCLA beat Oregon 5-1 on Friday. On Sunday, Cook played all 90 minutes as the Lady Bruins knocked off Oregon State 3-0.

Jason Beilstein
Sport: Football
High school: Tokay
College: South Dakota School of Mines
Beilstein, a 6-6 senior tight end, caught two passes for 18 yards and one touchdown in the Hardrockers' 60-20 win over Valley City State on Saturday.

Brittnee Warmerdam

High school: St. Mary's
College: UC Davis
Warmerdam, a senior defender, played 90 minutes in her last home game for the Aggies in a 4-1 loss to UC Santa Barbara on Friday.

Hallsie Pacheco
Sport: Soccer
High school: Lodi
College: San Jose State
Pacheco played 90 minutes and had one shot on goal in the Lady Spartans' 2-1 win over Idaho on Friday. On Sunday, Pacheco played 79 minutes in a 2-0 win over Cal State Bakersfield.

Sal Gutierrez

College: Azusa Pacific
Gutierrez, a senior linebacker, had one tackle for the Cougars in a 27-6 loss to Western Oregon on Saturday.

Kortney Agdeppa
Sport: Soccer
High school: Lodi
College: Pacific
Agdeppa, a freshman defender, played 83 minutes in a 1-0 overtime loss to Cal Poly on Friday. On Sunday, she played 94 minutes as the Tigers tied UC Santa Barbara 0-0 in double overtime at home.

George Duenas
Sport: Football
High school: Lodi
College: Minot State
A senior All-Dakota Athletic Conference first team offensive lineman, Duenas blocking helped pave the way for 580 yards of total offense in the Beavers' 58-6 win over Mayville State on Saturday.

Roz Hall

High school: Lodi
College: Cosumnes River
Hall, a sophomore setter, totaled 39 assists, nine digs, three kills and an ace in the Hawks' four-game win over American River College last week.

Kevin Lauchland

College: Oklahoma Panhandle State University
A junior quarterback, Lauchland completed 6-of-12 passes for 64 yards and one touchdown in a 69-38 win over Bacone on Oct. 17.

Steven Kassner

Kassner, a defensive back, had two tackles and two passes deflected in a 69-38 win over Bacone on Oct. 17. Kassner totaled eight tackles, including six solo tackles, in Saturday's 31-26 win over Texas College.

Andrew Walker

High school: Lodi
College: Oklahoma Panhandle State University
Walker, a defensive lineman, had seven tackles, including a sack, in a 69-38 win over Bacone. He recorded two more sacks in a 31-26 win over Texas College on Saturday that resulted in a loss of over 30 yards. He also had four tackles.

Ryan Carleton
Sport: Football
High school: Lodi
College: San Joaquin Delta
Carleton, a linebacker, had eight tackles, including five solo, in the Mustangs' 30-28 loss to Reedley. Carleton, who also plays on the special teams, returned a kickoff for five yards on Saturday.

Pete Murdaca
Sport: Football
High school: St. Mary's
College: San Joaquin Delta
Murdaca, a sophomore quarterback, completed 18-of-37 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-28 loss to Reedley on Saturday.
