"Conservatives believe in prosperity and the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Liberals are about big government to control the potential of Americans from achieving greatness."
Sparkster left this off the end:
... as long as we can blame the left for all of our ills and spend our kids money without anyone noticing."
Thanks. I couldn't have done it without you. "

Obama wins the Academy Award for 'acting' like someone with America's best interests in mind. He narrowly beat out Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the rest of the democrats in Congress.

I reviewed my posts and don't see any mention of conservatives getting the Nobel to President Obama. Go back and look. You might be confusing me with someone else, what with your blind hatred of Obama (not "Osama"-that's just to petty to be cute)shading everything you read or watch. This is a common conservative malady. If a democrat does it it's bad. It doesn't matter what "it" is, If a republican does it, "it" is good.I'm not quite sure how you expect me to defend a statement I didn't make.
And doesn't that just beat all: an imbecile calling someone an idiot. Check it out. You are lower on the intellegence scale. Maybe it is just you.
Though none of you believe it, the president was surprised to at this award.
Sorry you didn't bring you "A" game. Clean up your act and try again. "

I am tired of hearing people talking about how he's done this and done that. For argument's sake, let's say he has done something of good (now that was difficult for me to write). The NPP was to consider the nominees for what they had done prior to Feb. 1st. Again, what did he do?
Now we are to understand that this award is not for what you have actually accomplished, rather for what you 'hope to change'. "

The same way Nelson Mandela and FW de Klerk won in 1992. For the process they had started. But you seem like a guy who might have opposed that process, too. You preferred Kissinger's win, I suppose? Now that accomplished something, didn't it? "

It's pathetic that you don't know that since the constitution was ratified that we have been a republic.
Maybe if you actually loved America and not just the republican growling heads you could get on board and make the country better.
And as Obama may have added a couple of billion to the billions and billions and billions that Bush overspent, you (and your ilk) would be perfectly satisfied if more Americans lost their jobs and homes and .... until the economy "corrected" itself on it's own.
Here's a clue: where as you and I might have ended up out of work and homeless, you can be sure that all the execs in corporate offices or elected positions would be riding high.
It's sad you had to wait 8 years until you could blast a democratic president.
You must have been so sad that you failed to notice that Bush vetoed only one spending bill in 8 years. But he didn't raise taxes. At least democrats tax and spend. Republicans just spend, spend spend spend..... "

Osama has added 3 trillion to the debt. How is that helping us get OUT of debt? Please entertain us with the explanation. "

The right's rx'n to this was soooo predictable: Hear the announcement--Tune into Fox, or if you're a late sleeper,Limbaugh--Get talking points like
"The deadline for nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize was just 10 days after Obama's swearing in.." or "making promises and accomplishing nothing.."--Start email and letter writing--call in to conservative talk shows--Express outrage. I think I have that book with these steps in it from the RNC. Don't forget to jump up and down and scream and cry and threaten to hold your breath till you die. Like mom always says "go ahead". Very simple so most conservatives could understand it.
As to a "liberal economics class", never took one. But I have learned that if you spend more than you earn, you go into debt and the debt we are in now was because of #43, not #44. I know. It's difficult to hear the truth. Be assured though, president Obama is working to get us on our feet again, proud of our country and it's accomplishments. Join us for the big win! "

The Nobel is now a confirmed Political joke and it's reputation is forever tarnished. Like most other things in this current day it is a mere shell of what it once was.
To use this to "encourage" action leaves the truly deserving without reward of substance. This is a travesty of huge proportions. "
