Man in painter's clothing robs Lodi bank
A man in paint-spattered coveralls robbed a Lodi bank Monday, threatening that he had an explosive and a gun, police said.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, and nobody was injured in the incident at F&M Bank, 1020 W. Kettleman Lane.
Surveillance photos showed the man, who entered around 12:43 p.m., demanding that a teller place cash in a plastic bag, police said.
He wore dark blue, long-sleeved coveralls with paint spattered on them, over a gray shirt. He also wore a black baseball cap with sunglasses, and had a thin mustache.
Police believe the thin man is about 5-feet, 8-inches tall, white or light-skinned Hispanic, in his late 40s to 50s. He left the bank and ran east.
Anyone with information may contact Lodi Police Detective Eric Bradley at 333-6727. Anonymous callers may contact Lodi-Area Crimestoppers at 333-6771.

But wait, maybe you found a clue! Maybe he is a graffiti artist, and that explains why he is wearing his painting clothes. I guess thwe detective will have to see if they can match the paint coors on his uniform with the closest graffiti. No racial overtones here. Just simply match the paint colors. Good idea, Mr/Ms/Mrs "Kumbayah"! Just trying to be inclusive and politically correct with my descriptions. "
