Mary Ramirez
Cannery worker
Mary Aurelia Ramirez, 81, of Lodi, died Sept. 13. She was born in Calexico.
Mrs. Ramirez worked as a cannery worker for Tri-Valley Growers. She was a member of the Family Worship Center and enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ramirez, of San Carlos; sons, Daniel Ramirez, of Acampo, and Saul Ramirez, of Lockeford; brothers, Solomon Labrada, and Tony Labrada, of Elk Grove; sisters, Marie Campos and Eloise Holloway, of Oregon; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Ramirez; son, Samuel Ramirez; and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane in Lodi.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way (near Beckman Road), Lodi.
Cherokee Memorial Home is assisting family with arrangements.
