The Warriors came up winners in their Foundation match on Thursday at Wilton Christian taking two out of three games (25-12, 27-25, 25-17). Becca McBroom led Galt with nine kills, Nicole Newman totaled three kills and six digs, Shannon Whitley added three kills and five digs and Amelia Raquel chipped in eight assists and two kills.

Liberty Ranch 2, Cosumnes Oak 0
The Hawks improved to 3-0 in their inaugural season with a 25-15, 25-6 victory on Wednesday night. Liberty Ranch defeated Lathrop 25-13, 25-8 on Tuesday.

Cameron Guerrero scored four times to lead Galt (4-1) over visiting Valley on Thursday.
Aric Codog, Ivan Cardenas and Hymie Gamez also scored for the Warriors.

Riley Sexton shot a 40 to lead the Warriors (1-1, 1-0 Sierra Valley Conference) in their league opener at Empire Ranch Golf Course in Folsom.
Brittany Hamrick carded a 46, Amber Garcia shot a 47, Alex Hohn hit a 50, Willie Douglas posted a 51 and Demaree Sexton shot a 52.

Tokay 19, Delta Valley 0
Kade Weigum had 105 yards rushing and two TDs and Cody Loveall rushed for 66 yards and score to lead the Tigers (2-0) over the Delta Valley Wolfpack.
Christopher Balaga and Larry Etherton led the defense with nine tackles apiece, Korbin Mason had seven, Alex Arredondo and Adrian Paderes each had six, Justin Turner added four and Jacob Boyd had three tackles and two sacks.

Payton Evans rushed for 121 yards and a TD for the Tigers (2-0) and Mathew Wright added a 5-yard TD run.
Austin Mason had six tackles, Zachary Hulburt and Marco Moreno each had five and Andrew Hernandez added four.

Romero Ojeda scored the only TD of the game with less than 2 minutes remaining to lift the Tigers (2-0) over Delta Valley.
Defensively, Marcos Paderes had six tackles, Dezi Hall had five and Marcos Ortega, Tyler Welch and Jose Villanueva each had four.

Qb Michael Kirkendall threw a 50-yard TD pass to Levi Patterson and a 10-yard scoring strike to Christopher Curran in the Tokay (2-0) victory.
Alex Ollar had 11 tackles, Alex Charles and Josue Vega each had six and Angelo Nemie added five.

Youth Sign-ups
It's the last call for sign-ups for the Lodi Recreation Department's tot basketball, which is for boys and girls ages 3-5. Cost is $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents. Coaches are also needed. Play begins Sept. 26.

Registration is also being accepted for the junior basketball Spartan League for Kindergarten though third-grade boys and girls. The cost is $50 for residents and $60 for non-residents. Play begins in November.

Baseball
Youth Clinic
The Lodi Youth Baseball Clinic will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Salas Park.
The clinic, for boys and girls ages 6 to 14, will include four skill stations: Hitting, pitching, fielding and baserunning. A handful of players from the Stockton Ports will be on hand to help with instruction.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the cost is $50, which includes the clinic, lunch, a T-shirt and certificate and autograph and photo opportunities.
