Jason Asbury, Meghan Wudel plan to marry in September at Wine and Roses

Jason Asbury and Meghan Wudel, both of Roseville, were engaged last November.
Asbury graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1996, and then from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in managerial economics in 2001. He is employed by Oracle. He is the son of Ken and JoAnn Asbury, of Elk Grove.
Wudel graduated from Lodi High School. She then graduated from U.C. Davis with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2003, and from the University of the Pacific with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2008. She is employed by Safeway. She is the daughter of Ken and Brenda Wudel, of Lodi.
The couple was engaged on Nov. 21, 2008 on a weekend trip to Monterey. Asbury proposed to Wudel on the beach at sunset.
They announced their engagement on Feb. 28 at Cactus Mexican Restaurant with 50 guests in attendance. Those present included Katie Stewart, Aaron Asbury, Larry and Barbara O'Reilly, grandparents of the bride; Wanda Walther, great-aunt of the bride; and Magdelena Sayre and Utako Asbury, grandparents of the groom.
The two plan to marry on Sept. 12 at Wine and Roses.
