" Before he was turned out of office, I found that Alan Nakanishi was, as a Congressman a man of the people and truly interested with what the people in his district had to say. I attended one of his "meet the folks" talks at Dee Dee`s in Lodi, next to Sandborn Chevrolet. He took time out of his busy schedule to answer questions pertaining directly to the people of Lodi. However, McNerney is planning on holding one of those nifty telephone town-hall meetings but the date and time has not yet been determined. According to Afshan it should occur within the next two weeks. How this works is that I should be receiving a call from them giving me the telephone number for the meeting along with a PIN that will give me access to him once the meeting begins.

I wonder, is this telephonic town-hall meeting system something new, or have they used it in the past? If new, could it simply be a way to avoid eye contact with those desiring answers?

I was unable to find out where he is at this moment so I suppose all I can do now is wait for the phone call to be returned letting me know when to dial in for the town-hall meeting. This doesn't instill confidence. "
