Richard 'Dick' Crandall
Line technician
Richard "Dick" C. Crandall, 66, of Lodi, died Aug 8. He was born on March 27, 1943, in Stockton.
Mr. Crandall graduated form Franklin High School and Delta College. He was a lifelong resident of San Joaquin County, living in Stockton and Lodi. He worked for 28 years as a line and splicing technician for Pacific Bell and AT&T. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Vivien Crandall; son, Mike Crandall, of Sutter; daughters, Victoria Sibayan, of Stockton, and Linda Rangell, of Pacifica; brother, Allen Crandall, of Folsom; sister, Barbara Wells, of Jackson, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Willie Crandall; and brother, William "Bill" Crandall.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, near Beckman Road, in Lodi.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane, in Lodi.
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
