Monday

Galt City Council
Key items:

  • Approve an agreement to partner with the Galt Joint Union School District to provide after-school services.
  • Award a bid for the Central Galt Interchange building demolition project.
  • Award a contract to begin the first phase of residential water meter implementation.

    Tuesday

    San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors
    Key items:

  • Approve increasing funding for the low-income energy assistance program.
  • Approve Increasing appropriations for the neighborhood preservation and improvement budgets in the Community Development Block Grant program.
    When and where: 9 a.m., San Joaquin County Courthouse, 7th floor in board chambers, 222 E. Weber Ave., Stockton.

    Lodi Unified School
    District board of trustees regular meeting
    Key items:
  • Negotiate an agreement for wireless cell towers at Lodi High and Tokay High schools.
  • Adopt a fee schedule for the use of district facilities.
  • Move forward with an emergency plan as recommended by the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Authorize the filing of the Qualified School Construction Bond 2009 Application with the State of California Department of Education.
  • Receive an update on the 2009-10 school budget.

    Lodi Recreation Commission

  • Receive update on DeBenedetti Park and Grape Bowl improvements.

    Lodi City Council
    Key items:

  • Approve allowing the city to execute an exclusive right to negotiate with Eden Housing, Inc. to continue working on a senior housing project at 2245 Tienda Drive.
  • Approve a contract with People Assisting Lodi Shelter to allow them to provide staffing at the front desk.
  • Allow the city to seek bids for artificial turf at the Grape Bowl.

    San Joaquin County Board of Education special meeting
    When and where: 12 p.m., San Joaquin County Office of Education, Nelson Administration Center board room, 2901 Arch-Airport Road, Stockton.

    Galt Joint Union High School District neighborhood meeting
    Key item:
  • Discussion of possible traffic and safety issues that may arise with the influx of new students coming and going in and around the surrounding area of the new Liberty Ranch High School.
