18-year-old in serious condition after shooting

Detectives were called out to the intersection of Flora and Garfield streets on Friday night at 11:49 p.m. after receiving reports of multiple gunshots fired. At the scene, they found an 18-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to his body.

He was taken to Lodi Memorial Hospital and then airlifted to a larger hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information regarding the shooting can call Crime Stoppers at (209) 333-6771.

" It's after 4pm and not one comment on this story. That tells me two possible things about this shooting: 1) nobody is surprised due to it's location, 2) nobody really cares since it's probably just one gangbanger shooting another.

Where is all the uproar? Boy, if this had happened at Peterson Park it would have the entire LPD on the case. "
