Society must be torn down before 'change'

Saturday, July 25, 2009 6:43 AM PDT

How's the stimulus working for you?

That's my little standing joke, and I haven't found one person, yet, who has benefited from the $787 billion dollars Congress budgeted in such an amazing hurry that none of them even read the bill. Six months later, it turns out very little of it has actually been spent.

Far from creating jobs, the stimulus has provoked fear of hyper-inflation, closing down business plans. Rather than "shovel-ready projects," money has gone to buy car companies and hand ownership to union bosses. And it has funded Democrat districts, in trouble because of high, progressive tax rates.

But joblessness has skyrocketed since Obama's inauguration. It's worse even than it looks because the average work week has dipped to just 33 hours.

Now, another 2,100-page, job-killing bill, Cap and Trade, has passed without anybody ever reading it. How could they? Three hundred pages were inserted at 3:06 a.m. on the morning of the vote.

Part of a stealth insertion was a tax on employee health benefits, which applies to all employees except union members. Union shops are exempt from this heavy tax. That's fair?

Is Obama killing jobs on purpose? Evidently. A mandated 11-percent minimum wage increase couldn't come at a worse time. Already entry level unemployment is at 24 percent and worsening. Yet Obama says, "The stimulus is working exactly as planned."

Obama brags in his book of studying under admitted communist Saul Alinsky. Alinsky teaches, in "Rules for Radicals," that an "organizer" (his word for communist radical) must tear down society before he can "change" it. He writes: "History is a relay of revolutions." "Movement means friction." "Change comes from power." "The first step in community organization is community disorganization." "We must believe that it is the darkest before the dawn of a beautiful new world."

Doesn't it look like Obama is purposely destroying jobs?

Joseph Stalin purposely starved Ukrainians to make it easier to seize farms and turn them into collectives. Hopefully before change becomes that radical, voters will replace the collectivist community organizers.
