Lodi All-Stars stay alive
The Lodi All-Stars may have lost on Monday, but they are still alive.
Lodi fell to Clovis 13-2 in the Cal Ripken Central California State Tournament and fell to the loser's bracket of the double elimination tournament.
With its season on the line, Lodi will now face Cary today in Pismo Beach. The loser will be eliminated and the winner will advance to play Clovis in the state championship game.
In Monday's loss, Alex Ziemann had a hit and one RBI and Braden Miller and Simon Marks both scored for Lodi.
The All-Stars beat Five Cities 12-10 and San Luis Obispo 10-0 over the weekend to start the tournament off on a winning note.
