City Council, take the upper road

America is founded on Christian beliefs:
"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and Bible," quoted by Elias Boudinot.
"We have staked our future on our ability to follow the Ten Commandments with all our hearts," quoted by James Madison.
Liberties are being attacked, voices are being stilled, and our leaders need prayer to stand and exercise their loyalty to "God and country."
A quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: "The trouble is that not enough people have come together with the firm determination to live the things which they say they believe, to truly follow their deepest spiritual instincts."
Many have paid a great price for our freedom and liberty. We should not walk over the blood of the dead and wounded to satisfy those voices attacking our right to pray and worship the living God. The roots of evil spread to choke out the biblical beliefs America is founded on — "In God We Trust."
The invocation prayer should continue inside the City Council chamber directed to our living God.
Our family, active in the resistance in Holland, brought a young Jewish family home for protection. They asked, "How did this evil happen?" My uncle answered simply, "No one was watching."

City Council, take the upper road for freedom.

Ms. Hall, my family was intimately involved with getting slaughtered by the Nazis and we have another explanation for the Holocaust.
The Nazis sent their soldiers out with belt buckles that read "God is with us". These soldiers carried out a policy that was the direct result of centuries of Christian preaching that stated that Jews were Christ murdering devils that were unfit to live.
