George Walker
Vietnam veteran
George Earl Walker, 62, formerly of Woodbridge, died July 3. He was born May 2, 1947, in Marysville.
Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for PG&E and Kellogg's Garden Products. He enjoyed Harleys, hot rods, "anything with wheels," NASCAR, NHRA, fishing and playing online poker. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and pets.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Walker, of Stockton; daughters, Amanda Walker, of Acampo, and Jennifer Walker, Tia Gardner and Cynthia Gardner, all of Santa Rosa; brother, Jerold Walker, of Santa Rosa; sister, Carol Solomon, of Morgan Hill; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
