Does Hillary Clinton mean what she says?
As most of us remember, Hillary Clinton ran the now-infamous advertisement during her failed bid for the presidency where she asked whether or not then-candidate Obama would be able to handle the "3 a.m. call."
The purpose of that commercial was to demonstrate that it was she, not Obama, who had the requisite experience to adequately respond to a crisis while at the same time wiping the sleep out of her eyes. No doubt then she believed he was not up to the task.
Recently however, when queried as to whether she had changed her mind in the scant seven months since then, now Secretary of State Clinton responded, "The president in his public actions and demeanor, and certainly in private with me and with the national security team, has been strong, thoughtful, decisive," she said on ABC's This Week. "I think he is doing a terrific job. And it's an honor to serve with him" (www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/06/07/obama-answered-clinton-says).
Whether or not she really believes this is clearly something worthy of debate, but I would rather focus on her carefully statement that " ... it's an honor to serve 'with' him." (Emphasis added.) As I've always believed, none of these people utter anything without careful consideration to how they come across (except for Joe Biden, of course).
I submit that things are not as warm and fuzzy between the Secretary of State and the President of the United States as she might want us to believe. The president's cabinet works "for" him, not "with" him. This is an important distinction because I cannot fathom that Mrs. Clinton has gotten over not becoming the 44th President of the United States — not by a long shot.
Her inability to simply state that " ... it's an honor to serve him" is as nearly impossible for her as it was for The Fonz to admit he was "wrong." And since nothing substantive has occurred since Inauguration Day that would have Clinton (nor anyone else) change her mind about that wake-up call, she's secretly hoping that a call of that magnitude never occurs.
For me, if and when that call does come, I do hope he's up to the task. Unfortunately, I still have my doubts.

" There's some kind of weird osmosis going on....I know I'm not the only one this happens to, either.
I'm talking about as soon as I read the title to one of his letters, I know it's by Jerome....and it's getting kind of creepy because I have to scroll down to see if I'm right before I even read the letter. LOL! "
Why bother to read them? They're all exactly the same. 350 words on why Jerome Kinderman hates Barack Obama, day after day after day. "

I wonder how long it would take a level headed guy like Jerome to get over not becoming president by the skin of his teeth? I wonder if Jerome could ever get over being silenced if LNS stopped printing his pablum. "
