Families who have adopted children through Share Homes were honored by the graduates of the Leadership Lodi Class of 2009 during a dinner at the LOEL Center on Wednesday. Leadership Lodi is a nonprofit group that gives a year-long program that encourages individuals to "achieve higher levels of leadership." At the end of each year-long program, the graduates choose an organization to honor. This year they chose Share Homes, an organization that helps place abused children with foster parents.
