Lucia Barajas
Cannery worker
Lucia Pena Barajas, 77, of Galt, died June 3. She was born on Dec. 29, 1931, in Mexico.
Mrs. Barajas worked at California Canners and Growers in Thornton. She attended St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Galt. She enjoyed going to the Galt Flea Market and visiting with friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Natalia, Hilda and Maggie; and sons, Antonio, Adam, Ernie and Gilbert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, following the Rosary, at 9 a.m. Saturday. Committal will be at the Galt Cemetery.
Ben Salas Funeral Home is assisting family with arrangements.
