Feels Medi-Cal services shouldn't be cut

Thursday, June 4, 2009 6:32 AM PDT

This is an open letter to Alyson Huber. As you can see, your constituents voted to show how angry they are with our current legislation (which includes yourself), and the current hole that you guys continue to dig yourselves into in Sacramento.

These are the same constituents that voted you into office back in November 2008, the same ones that voted in confidence, hoping you would keep your promises and demand change to how politics work in Sacramento. But, just recently in your townhall meeting at Lodi High School, you seemed lax and rather hesitant about changing our state's constitution, something that could be a plausible move in order to help fix California's budget.

I feel that I have made yet another terrible mistake when I headed to the polls on voting day, and that mistake was allowing you a chance to head to Sacramento. My first mistake was Mr. Schwarzenegger and allowing him to be governor. I will have to pay additional medical expenses because California cannot balance a checkbook properly.

You see, I'm not one of those lazy slackers who do nothing but sit on their butts all day and collect SSI and Medi-Cal. I am one of the people who needs it. I have a rare chromosome disorder called Chromosome 18 Ring, which is currently being heavily studied in Texas because not much is known about it. Because I have no idea what could happen to my body in the near or even long-term future, I need every service that Medi-Cal currently covers, which includes audiology podiatry, incontinence, optometry and dental services.

Allowing to cut these critical services that Medi-Cal offers, you have placed blood on your own hands. If you want know how many people with disabilities are going to be affected by the decision-making you made in Sacramento, call up the Valley Mountain Regional Center and other centers in California to get statistics on how many people with disabilities there are.

" These liberal crybabies should go to their leader, Obama and ask for a handout. If he can give $80 billion to a couple of car companies, he ought to be able to slip CA $24 billion. "

" While I feel sorry for you Ken, I`d like to know exactly how much money the taxpayers of California should have to pay you so that you are comfortable. $1-2 Mill.? $5-10 million? Let me know and I`ll cut you a check!

Sincerely.

Arnold Schwarzenegger "

" People like yourself and all the seniors should not have to pay because of all the losers sitting back collecting welfare and getting free services. Look at all the illegals who are stealing from our seniors. CUT THEM OFF AND THEY WILL LEAVE. There will then be more jobs and more money for actual citizens who deserve the help like Kenneth. I am so sick and tired of the families in the stores who cannot speak English while they pay with food stamps. YOU ARE MESSING UP OUR COUNTRY. You are the reason we are in trouble financially. ARNOLD YOU NEED TO STOP WELFARE TO THESE PEOPLE. Welfare should be for citizens only who are down and out and only for 3 months. Why anyone would allow illegals the free service they are receiving is beyond me. "
