Lodi Lake Fishing Derby
The 18th Annual Lodi Lake Fishing Derby, sponsored by the Lodi Sportsman's Club and Lodi Parks and Recreation Department, will be held Saturday at Lodi Lake.
The derby is for children 15 years old and younger and a fishing license is required for anglers 16 and older. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. and fishing begins at 8 a.m. and ends at noon. A fish tank will be available for kids under 8 years old and fishing rods will be provided. You must bring your own fishing pole for the derby.
There will be a casting contest from 8 to 11 a.m. at the back of the lake. Weigh-in is at noon and raffle prizes will be awarded at 12:30 p.m. There will be a grand prize for largest trout.

Baseball
Hot Stove Meeting
Local baseball lovers are invited to attend a Hot Stove lunch date at noon today to talk about everything baseball at Richmaid Restaurant's banquet room.
The Hot Stove sessions, which will be held the last Friday of each month, are hosted by the Lodi Baseball Club, Lodi's new summer collegiate team that will take the field for the first time next Thursday.
Richmaid is located at 100 S. Cherokee Lane.
Golf
Leeworthy Memorial
The inaugural Eric Leeworthy Memorial Scholarship Tournament will be held next Friday at Lockeford Springs Golf Course.
The cost is $80 (includes golf, cart, range balls, boxed lunch and tri-tip dinner) and proceeds from the four-man scramble event will provide scholarships for Galt High athletes.

Golf Instruction
Woodbridge Country Club will offer free instruction for golfers 14 years and older as part of the fifth American Express Women's Golf Month. Networking receptions, golf rules, etiquette seminars, club fitting and demonstrations are included in the program.

The Delta volleyball program is hosting a clinic for girls ages 11-17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 23-25 at Blanchard Gym.
