Lodi Police Department
In the 48 hours after 9 a.m. Saturday, the Lodi Police Department handled 222 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:
Monday
Domestic Violence
12:27 a.m.: A drunken 25-year-old man was arrested after a domestic altercation involving his pregnant wife in the 400 block of East Elm Street.
Garage Burglary
8:39 a.m.: Someone burglarized a garage in the 400 block of East Oak Street.
Sunday
Hit-and-run
12:06 a.m.: After hitting a McDonald's building because the vehicle was too high, the driver apparently left and went to Elgin Avenue.
Not-so-sly drinkers
12:50 a.m.: About 15 to 20 juveniles were drinking alcohol from clear containers at In-N-Out Burger, 2625 W. Kettleman Lane.
Too much alcohol?
1:28 a.m.: A drunken man was vomiting while hanging out of a silver Chevrolet Silverado that was parked behind Garry's Lounge, 13 S. School

Fight, likely involving alcohol
2:02 a.m.: Ten people were fighting behind ORiley's Pub, 211 S. Cherokee Lane.
Delayed car wreck
2:45 a.m.: Three bloody, uncooperative teens showed up at Lodi Memorial Hospital, 975 S. Fairmont Ave., saying they had been in a car wreck. Police learned that the crash had happened outside of Lodi, and the California Highway Patrol took over the matter.
Fighting against court orders
5:26 a.m.: A male and a female got into a physical fight and he refused to leave Tuscany Ridge Apartments, 1830 S. Hutchins St. The 26-year-old man was arrested for violating a court order.
Fight
12:27 p.m.: A woman was crying after a physical fight at River's Edge Apartments, 505 Pioneer Drive.
Residential Burglary
1:58 p.m.: Someone broke into a home in the 300 block of East Pine Street.
Not the best place to play
2:13 p.m.: A female put a chair and three cones in the middle of the road so children could play in the 1600 block of West Locust Street.
Pallet Taker
2:44 p.m.: A suspicious man was taking pallets from Safeway, 2449 W. Kettleman Lane. He was arrested on a warrant.
Shots Fired
3:57 p.m.: Shots were heard and four boys left on foot in the 700 block of South Washington Street.
Car Theft
5:30 p.m.: A dark blue four-door Saturn was stolen sometime in the past 24 hours in the 2400 block of Eilers Lane.
Stolen pressure washer
5:41 p.m.: Someone stole a pressure washer from a truck in the 2300 block of Tecea Lane.
Home Burgled
6 p.m.: A residence was burglarized in the 1800 block of Reisling Drive.
Burglarized storage unit
6:04 p.m.: Sometime in the last four days a unit was burglarized at A Mini Storage, 532 S. Main St.
Grand Theft
6:25 p.m.: Property valued at more than $400 was stolen in the 1700 block of Providence Way.
Dumpers
11:04 p.m.: People were dumping items in a field off Harney Lane near Mills Avenue.
Not worth the trouble
11:42 p.m.: People tried to return a lighter they hadn't paid for at USA Gas, 2448 W. Kettleman Lane. They left but then their car got a flat tire. They had disappeared by the time police arrived.
Domestic Fight
11:52 p.m.: A husband, age 28, and a wife, age 24, got into a physical fight at El Rancho Bar & Grill, 621 N. Cherokee Lane. Both were arrested.
Saturday
Bad Dogs
1:57 p.m.: Mean dogs were in the dog park at Virginia Avenue and Vista Drive.
Dumpster Shopping
2:07 p.m.: A homeless person was "shopping" in a dumpster near a swimming pool in the 2200 block of Scarborough Drive. The person was gone when police arrived.
Domestic Violence
4:27 p.m.: One person left but threatened to return after a physical domestic altercation in the 2300 block of Alpine Drive.
Recovery of a stolen car
5:47 p.m.: A 30-year-old man was arrested after being found with a stolen car at Main and Elm streets.
Drugs
10 p.m.: Someone had drugs at Stockton and Hilborn streets.
Blazing Bonfire
10:16 p.m.: Someone was having a bonfire in a backyard in the 300 block of Acacia Street, and a neighbor was worried that the embers could land on his roof. The resident extinguished the fire after learning it's not allowed in Lodi.
Juvenile Drama
10:47 p.m.: Fifteen juveniles were arguing and two of them were physically fighting in the 400 block of North California Street. Some of them urinated on a vehicle.
Shoplifter Caught
11:46 p.m.: One shoplifter got away in a black car but the other was caught at Flame Liquors, 1301 W. Kettleman Lane.
