Jessica Dela Cruz
Sport: Basketball
High School: Galt
College: Delta
After missing two games with a concussion, the sophomore returned last Tuesday and scored 11 points in the final eight minutes to lift Delta to a 59-53 victory over Foothill in the championship game of the Delta Classic Tournament.
Dela Cruz finished with 15 points and four steals.
Delta (14-4) is ranked No. 2 in Northern California and No. 7 in the state.
Julie Bowden

College: Delta
Bowden helped limit Foothill post players Jennifer Kloa and Kindra Jones to six points in the second half in Delta's victory in the Delta Classic championship game.
Lucas Birchard

College: William Jessup Univ.
The senior had 22 points, six rebounds, one block and one assist for Jessup (5-10) in a 70-68 loss to Morgan State last Saturday in the Shamrock Office Solutions Classic basketball tournament in Moraga.
In the second-round game on Sunday, Birchard had 13 points, two rebounds, one block and one assist in a 82-61 loss to San Jose State.

Thomas, a junior and the team's sixth man, had nine points and four rebounds for the Vikings (10-3) in a 77-70 upset win over No. 5 ranked Gonzaga last Tuesday. He added seven rebounds and four points for the Vikings in a 63-55 win over Texas Southern on Saturday.
Thomas had six points and three rebounds and added one steal in Portland State's 79-66 loss to No. 19 Baylor on Monday night.
Aaron Wilson

Wilson had one rebound in a 59-47 loss to George Washington at home on Tuesday for the Hornets (1-10). He added four points in a 76-51 loss to Southern Utah on the road on Saturday.

The Aggies (4-8) were off last week and resume play today at home against Ivy League member Dartmouth at 7:30 p.m.
