In the 48 hours after 9 a.m. Wednesday, the Lodi Police Department handled 222 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:
Friday
Drunken Driver
12:04 a.m.: A 29-year-old drunken driver was arrested at the 76 station, 633 Victor Road.
Hazardous traffic dodger
12:47 a.m.: A man was walking in the middle of the road and stepping in front of oncoming traffic at Lakewood Drive and Turner Road. The 22-year-old was arrested for public intoxication.
Unhappy window breaker
6:24 a.m.: A female was breaking windows at a condo in the 2200 block of Scarborough Drive, then possibly fired off two rounds with a gun. Police determined that she had a stick, not a gun, was visiting from out of state and had mental health issues.
Burglary
8:19 a.m.: A storage shed was burglarized at Orchard Supply Hardware, 360 S. Cherokee Lane.
Residential Burglary
8:50 a.m.: Someone broke into a home in the 800 block of West Oak Street.
Thursday
Drunken driver crashes
12:21 a.m.: A white Jeep Cherokee ran into a sign and fence at Kettleman and Cherokee lanes, then left the scene. The drunken, unlicensed 39-year-old male driver was soon found and arrested.
Another drunken driver crashes
1:44 a.m.: Minor injuries were reported in a solo-vehicle crash, witnessed by paramedics, in the 400 block of North Cherokee Lane. The 23-year-old male driver was also drunk and unlicensed.
Instigators
1:59 a.m.: Three men in a green van began throwing beer bottles and starting a fight in the Pep Boys parking lot, 1401 S. Cherokee Lane.
Domestic Violence
2:33 p.m.: Domestic violence was reported in the 600 block of North School Street.
Christmas celebration?
3:18 p.m.: A man and woman were possibly having sex in a red car at Lodi Lake, 1301 W. Turner Road. They were gone when police arrived.
More domestic violence
4:18 p.m.: A man was arrested for domestic violence on Mason Street.
Endangered Bicyclist
4:40 p.m.: Someone tried to run over a bicyclist at Poppy Drive and Harney lane.
Not a good fence
5:11 p.m.: A dog stuck his head through a fence and bit a female's sweatshirt at the corner of Elm Street and Cherokee Lane. She didn't need medical aide.
Prostitution
11:14 p.m.: A woman propositioned a man for sex at Main and Lockeford streets. The woman, who wore a dark jacket and was in her 30s or 40s, was with another female.
Wednesday
Residential Burglary
11:23 a.m.: Someone broke into a home in the 600 block of North Sacramento Street.
Crash
11:26 a.m.: Nobody was injured when a city animal control vehicle was involved in a collision at Kettleman Lane and Mills Avenue.
Hazardous Highway 12 driver
2:26 p.m.: A green Nissan Altima had been driving recklessly on Kettleman Lane since Interstate 5 and then got into a collision at Mills Avenue. It left the scene and continued eastbound.
How to get fired on Christmas Eve
4:55 p.m.: A 31-year-old employee was arrested for stealing from Target, 2355 W. Kettleman Lane.
Residential Burglary
9:27 p.m.: Someone burglarized a home in the 400 block of Sonora Avenue.
Hat in exchange for burgled car
10:52 p.m.: A vehicle burglary suspect left a hat inside the victim car at Lyons Restaurant, 233 S. School St.
Home Burglarized
10:54 p.m.: Someone broke into a home in the 700 block of North Pleasant Avenue.
Not a good Christmas Eve
11:04 p.m.: A juvenile on house arrest was having chest pains on South Sacramento Street. The teenager was found to be drunk.
Drunk, no sign of Santa involvement
11:45 p.m.: An 18-year-old was causing a disturbance in the 1125 block of Woodrow Street. He was arrested for public intoxication.
