In the 24 hours after 9 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department handled 130 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:

Wednesday

Fight Starter

12:06 a.m.: A 31-year-old man kicked down a door in the 1600 block of South Sacramento Street. He was starting a fight with a female, as was his mother.

Garage Burglary

12:53 a.m.: After burglarizing a garage in the 1800 block of Almondwood Place, the suspect was heard jumping over a fence.

Drunken Driver

2:08 a.m.: A drunken woman was trying to drive away from Sky's Bar, 116 W. Turner Road, in her gray car. She appeared to pass out inside the car, but then she drove east on Turner Road and turned on Sacramento Street. Police caught up and arrested the 22-year-old for drunken driving.

Truant Student

7:13 a.m.: Though she'd already missed a week of education, a South Hutchins Street girl was refusing to get up and go to school.

Suspicious tire-remover

7:57 a.m.: A man was taking tires off a vehicle that had been parked for weeks in the 500 block of Harold Street. Police had a warrant for his arrest.

Vehicle Theft

8:41 a.m.: Someone stole a black Honda Civic in the 300 block of Forrest Avenue.

Tuesday

Declined leaf raking offer

9:50 a.m.: A day earlier, a woman offered to rake leaves for a resident in the 400 block of Eureka Avenue. The resident declined. Now she was back, leaving items in his yard. Officers located and disposed of the unnamed items.

Forgery

11:16 a.m.: A man with braided hair was using a fake name to access an account with a fraud alert on it at Bank of America, 700 W. Kettleman Lane. The 22-year-old was arrested for forgery, using false ID and attempted theft, as well as having marijuana in a vehicle.

Cheapest meal in town?

12:22 p.m.: A woman left a total of $2 for her bill at Lodi Feed and Fuel, 27 W. Elm St., and even took the leftovers in a to-go box. The ponytailed woman headed west and was last seen crossing Church Street.

Uncooperative Witness

1:05 p.m.: A Crescent Avenue woman wanted to have a man arrested for violating his probation, based on a photo in her phone of the man with a drug pipe. The woman wouldn't give much information, began rambling about conspiracy theories and then cussed at the officer.

Trashed Apartment

1:23 p.m.: A man was trashing a home at Cambridge Place Apartments, 445 Almond Drive.

Stolen and found car

2:05 p.m.: Someone stole a patient's car at Lodi Memorial Hospital, 975 S. Fairmont Ave. At 7:38 a.m., security found the car back in the lot.

Drugs

4:57 p.m.: A 38-year-old man was arrested on a drug violation in the 500 block of West Oak Street.

Forgotten Child

6:43 p.m.: Family members forgot to pick up a mentally disabled student at Lodi High School, 3 S. Pacific Ave., after a field trip, and their Lockeford phone number was busy. Sheriff's deputies went to the home and found a grandparent, who picked up the child.

Unwanted sex offer

7:16 p.m.: A man asked a female to perform sex acts for money at Quik Stop, 1721 S. Cherokee Lane. When she refused, he threatened to assault her. The man, who wore a black hooded shirt and black pants, walked west on Almond Drive.

Neighbor Dispute

7:51 p.m.: Neighbors were yelling at each other from their doorsteps in the 2300 block of Oxford Way.

Drunken man, or not?

8:56 p.m.: A man was drinking excessively at Alebrijes restaurant, 1301 W. Lockeford St., and was possibly going to drive away with his 9-year-old daughter. Officers found nobody matching that description, and the last customer had left an hour earlier.

Grand theft of coins

9:10 p.m.: Coins valued at more than $400 were stolen from a safe on Rio Vista Drive.

Possible Gun

9:34 p.m.: One of three men in the roadway was possibly holding a gun in the 1200 block of South Stockton Street. All three soon left.
