Two accused of damaging sprinker at Lodi courthouse
A parolee in custody on accusations of crashing a stolen car into an apartment and breaking water pipes in the process has more water woes: He and another inmate are accused of damaging a Lodi courthouse sprinkler and causing about $4,000 worth of damages.
Timothy Nolan Jr., 23, who was facing a number of felony charges related to the crash earlier this month, is now accused of conspiracy and vandalism.
And the other suspect, 20-year-old David Jonathan Hall, likely would have been released from custody because he was only in jail for traffic infractions. Now his bail is set at $535,000, according to San Joaquin County Jail records.
The two were among four inmates in a holding cell at the Lodi courthouse, 215 W. Elm St. At around 10:20 a.m. Monday, one of them broke a ceiling sprinkler, according to the Sheriff's Office.
