Notes and Notables
Travis Dodd named Teen of the Month
Travis Dodd, a senior at Jim Elliot Christian High School, has been selected as Teen of the Month for November by the Lodi Youth Commission.
Dodd has a 3.2 grade-point average and serves as the student body president and as captain of the soccer team. He is involved in the Interact Club and the Impact Team.

Each year he joins the speech and debate class for the Association of Christian Schools International speech meet and the past two years, he has won first place in devotional homeletics. He attends Horizon Community Church in Galt, where he is a leader in the youth group.
Dodd enjoys serving Christ and playing sports. Over the summer he, along with his family, went to Mexico for a missions trip, where they built a home for families in need.
He lives with his mom and dad and sister, Ally. He feels they constantly provide moral support and encouragement and knows they will be behind him in every step of his life.
Following graduation, Dodd plans to pursue a master's degree in theology, spend a few years as a missionary and then become a pastor.
