Who does God support in the election?

With Election Day coming on Tuesday, Pastor Bill Cummins will discuss God's views on politics and whether he cares how the election turns out, at Sunday's services at Bear Creek Community Church in south Lodi.
Cummins will answer the following questions:
Services will be held at 9 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Bear Creek Community Church, 11171 N. Lower Sacramento Road, a quarter-mile north of Eight Mile Road. For more information, call 333-0836 or 951-9229.

Still, the notion that churches are refrained from "discussing" politics is ridiculous. What they are prohibited from doing (in order to retain their tax-exempt status) is officially stating their support or opposition to candidates or issues from the pulpit.
Here we have a church extending an invitation to anyone who would like to hear what one church believes God's stand is on the underlying issues that formed the need for Proposition 8. Nowhere in the article are we provided even a glimpse as to what was to be discussed.
However, those who are so quick to label anyone who even dares to debate this issue as bigoted, homophobic and hateful, might have been surprised as to just what was talked about during these services. I doubt that it was political, bigoted, homophobic or hateful in nature. "

yes the country needed a change of direction, but it isn't the man with the best command of the english language that can get the job done, it is more the man that can do what he promised in the first place.
i am not a hater, i hope obama "can". however i didn't buy the "master orator" gig, and being the realist i am, i don't hold out a whole lot of hope he can. i think he is not much more than a smooth politician.
one thing that REALLY caught my eye about obama, is that out of the two candidates, obama was the one the terrorists were hoping would get elected, and that says ALOT about obama's future "abilities"

Thank God Obama is the man that was elected to deal with this mess American is in right now. I couldn't imagine any other candidate dealing with today's problems. I thought President elect Obama's victory speech was brilliant, classy and humble. I also thought McCain conceded with grace. The jeers at McCain's speech last night, when he spoke of Obama, were pretty darn tacky though...not a classy group. "

as per the law ladies and gentlemen, the church CAN discuss politics anytime it wants, and it is SUPPOSED to because God defines morality.
the ONLY thing a church cannot do is endorse a specific candidate

I agree. The churches have sure gotten involved this year. There should be some investigations there as millions have been spent on political campaigns through these churches. They have organized protests and beyond. It's not right. Actually, its illegal as per their non-profit status. "
