Who would have thought?
Who would have thought terrorists would use airplanes as missiles?
No one ever imagined the levees would fail! Who could have predicted that illegally occupying Iraq would require trillions of dollars? No one could have ever predicted the Iraqi "insurgency!" Who would have thought that there was a housing bubble? Who would have believed that the U.S. could go bankrupt in only eight years? Who would have thought Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib were illegal? Who would have known that you can spy on Russia from Wasilla, Alaska? Who would have known that "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran" was written by a former POW? Who would believe that the Lodi News-Sentinel would support McCain-Palin for four more years of the Bush Doctrine? Heckava job, Lodi News-Sentinel!
Please vote for change. Please vote with our grandchildren in mind. Please vote for Obama-Biden — a new direction for America.

And who would have thought that nearly half of the American people supporting such a man have had half (or more) of their brain matter sucked out without anyone ever noticing? A very strange phenomenon indeed! "

Everything that we "should" know of Obama has been lost, sealed or just plain locked up. Nope - we (the People) don't need to know who this guy really is. All we need to know is that he is the agent of "hope" and "change."
But who would have thought that this so-called "hope" and "change" mantra perpetrated upon the American people would be suddenly diminished to the point of near non-existence - by the "agent" himself. Oh, but he'll get a pass "if" he wins on Tuesday. He'll be able to recall this very moment in time when he warned us that all of the hype surrounding hope and change was all a myth; and he'll get away with it because he'll insist that he confessed to the sham "before" people cast their votes.
Who would have thought? "

You'll find that a lot of military personnel do not see war as a first resort; they'd rather see diplomacy used first and war only as a last ditch effort. Unfortunately, I've come across some articles that say the chimp wants to be able to use **nuclear** first strikes. Ye Gods! I think he should be able to pronounce the word before he can use this! "

Amen. Great letter, Bill.
We bombed Syria last week and Pakistan again this week. Voting for a candidate who finishes every speech with "FIGHT, we need to FIGHT... FIGHT" is down right scary.
I am married to a Vietnam Vet who also believes war is really not the answer. "
