Lodi chamber announces advertising agreement
On Monday, Pat Patrick, the Lodi Chamber of Commerce CEO, announced the chamber has entered into an exclusive agreement with U.S. International Ads Inc.
The chamber will begin marketing and promoting chamber display boards and a video billboard that will display and cycle full-color advertisements on a 27-inch flat-screen monitor at the Lodi Chamber of Commerce offices.
U.S. International Ads has promoted small businesses since 1990. Its indoor and outdoor billboard concepts have swept through the southwest, and USI-ADS is very excited about promoting businesses through these displays at the Lodi Chamber office.
The custom, wood-crafted display boards will feature full-color, 14-inch by 10-inch advertisements with space for business cards, information and flyers. Chamber members are the only ones that will be able to advertise on the boards, providing exposure to all visitors to the chamber whether inside or out. USIADS also offers graphic design services to help chamber members prepare their ads.
Linda Trechter, director of operation at U.S. International, will begin contacting chamber members shortly to set up a brief scheduled meeting with Jonathan Ewing, CEO of U.S. International, to further discuss the advertising opportunity.
Samples of previous displays can be seen at www.usinternationalads.com.
Lodi networking group to hold regular meeting
The Women's Business Network of Lodi — formerly the Lodi, Woodbridge and Galt Women's Network — is holding their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting, which will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., will be held at the cellardoor tasting room at 21 N. School St. in Downtown Lodi. Women from any business background are encouraged to attend the social gathering.
A special presentation will be made by Paula Grech, the director of the Lodi branch of the Women's Center of San Joaquin County, on Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The group will hold its regular networking time with a table to showcase business cards and flyers, and attendees will have an opportunity to do a 60 second commercial to introduce themselves to everyone and talk about their business.
The meeting will feature hors d'oeuvres and no host bar, with a $10 donation for members and $15 donation for non-members.
Those wishing to attend or wanting more information about the Women's Business Network of Lodi should e-mail wbnoflodi@yahoo.com.
