Gillespie, Falkenstien married
Nathaniel Gillespie, of Woodbridge, and Jill Falkenstien, of Atascadero, were married in July.
Gillespie graduated from Lodi High School in 2001, and then from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry in 2006. He is employed as a chemist for the city of Santa Cruz. He is the son of Dale and Debbie Gillespie, of Woodbridge.
Falkenstien graduated from Atascadero High School in 2001, and then attended Sonoma State University and Sacramento State University and graduated with a Masters Degree in social work in 2008. She is employed by Heartland Hospice in San Jose. She is the daughter of John and Linda Falkenstien, of Atascadero.
The couple was married on July 12 at the historical Rancho in Santa Margarita, near San Luis Obispo, with the Rev. Tom Trotter, great-uncle of the bride, officiating.
The best men were Ryan Clark, Dominic Alexander, Anthony Rossi, Nick Reub, Jeff Keaney and Shawn Hogan.
The maid of honor was Abby Hoskins, of Atascadero, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Katie Gillespie, sister of the groom, Katie Rodriguez, cousin of the bride, Kathryn Gosney, Ashley Whittaker Payne and Marina Zimmer.
The flower girl was Julia Gillespie, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Logan Souza, nephew of the groom.
The two will spend their honeymoon in Fiji in March of 2009. They have made their home in Santa Cruz.
