Comments were insensitive

Words spoken in haste bring reproach. This is what Solomon wrote in Proverbs. I am guilty of just that.
My comments at a meeting concerning Proposition 8, "It will be a cold day in hell before I marry a homosexual couple," were insensitive at the least and inappropriate at best. And for those words I am saddened and apologetic for anyone hurt or harmed by them. I would like to add that they were mine, and not those of Century Assembly. Allow me to clarify the position of Century Assembly and myself as it pertains to this issue:
"Century Assembly is open to, yet not affirming of, those who lead a homosexual lifestyle. Century holds to the Biblical truth that homosexuality is not an acceptable response to same-sex attraction and while individuals may not choose their attractions, they have the ability to choose their response. Our message is one of truth in love as we graciously minister to individuals from all walks of life who desire a deeper relationship with Christ. Accordingly, our view of same-sex marriage is that the health of individuals, children and our culture is intimately linked to the well-being of natural marriage and its Biblical intention — a sacred, legal and social union ordained by God to be a life-long, sexually exclusive relationship between one man and one woman. As not to hold to a double-standard, and in accordance with the vows of ordination through the Assemblies of God, Century does not promote the union of same-sex couples through the use of our facility or ceremonies and/or same-sex couples counseling."

It's that whole "Go from here and sin no more" that needs to be paid attention to as well as the "let he without sin" part. She didn't face judgement at the hands of the crowd or from Jesus, but he does leave her with the commandment to "sin no more".
The problem with throwing out one passage is that you miss the context and the whole message may be missed. "

an accurate statement would be that you can't know a persons FULL intent in a short amount of time, but you surely can over a period of time whereby a person spills their intent.
some people re better than others of weighing peoples words and their claims.
i happen to be good at telling what a person really believes in a relative short period of time by weighing out their words, VS what they "claim" they believe.
an accurate statement is "you can't know EVRYTHING about a person, but you can surely know aspects about them as they reveal them, and make accurate judgements calls against flawed behavior when you see it.

he DID say that, and if you had read the whole context of that story, the pharisee's were ready to kill the woman over her adultery. Christ stopped them in their tracks with those words, because their "sentence" was way out of line. but that doesn't mean they weren't supposed to judge her. judging her righteously would have meant they called her out on it, and "not said anything", like you infer.
YOU judge people everyday. you have to, in order to make a decision on how your going to deal with them in any given situation. you HAVE to establish motive, and you do it everyday because it's the right thing to do.
how else do you come to a conclusion WITHOUT judging?
the "don't judge" is aimed at silencing people from zeroing in on the fact that THEY fall short of Gods standards, not because it's not supposed to be done "

that's a misrepresentation of Gods word. God calls us TO judge others actions and words to keep morality in check, and for accountability purposes.
