Three in county diagnosed with West Nile fever

Three people living in central San Joaquin County were diagnosed with West Nile virus fever, according to the county's West Nile task force.
The people were identified as a 66-year-old female and two men, ages 52 and 54. All three suffered from fever, headache and other symptoms of the sickness, according to a statement released by the district.
The district does not release any more information on where those diagnosed with the sickness live aside from general areas. The most recent cases bring the total of diagnosed case of West Nile fever to 13 this year.
The district also announced additional spray areas in Stockton.
