Patricia "Gigi" E. Muthart, 83, of Lodi, died on Sept. 15. She was born on Feb. 24, 1925, in Washington.

Mrs. Muthart lived for the past six years in Lodi, and was previously a longtime resident of Stockton and a 30-year resident of Santa Rosa. She became the first female postal carrier in Turlock, owned and operated Gingham Girl Donut Shop, was in charge of the concessions at Pixie Woods, and built the Fore and Aft Hamburger Stand and Bait Shop at Dad's Point. While living in Santa Rosa, Mrs. Muthart and her second husband Jack managed a mobile home park and were later partners in a travel agency where they traveled the world with the Apple Jacks travel group.

She is survived by her son, Ken Porter, of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; daughter, Kathy Porter Camp, of Stockton; brother, Roy Kingery, of Arizona; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by first husband, Charles Porter, and second husband, Jack Muthart.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and East Harney Lane, Lodi. A reception will follow at Berea Baptist Church, 4957 Quashnick Drive, Morada.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
