Kenneth C. Tate Sr. and Loretta J. Tate
Kenneth C. Tate Sr., 73, and Loretta J. Tate, 71, both of Lodi, died on Sept. 8 in Nevada. Kenneth was born on March 2, 1935, in Iowa and Loretta was born on Feb. 4, 1937, in California.
Kenneth and Loretta both resided in Lodi since 1954. Kenneth worked for General Mills as a supervisor unitl his retirement and Loretta was a homemaker. Together, as Christians, they enjoyed helping people. Kenneth also enjoyed working with his John Deere tractors.
Kenneth and Loretta are survived by thier sons, Rodney Tate, John Tate and Casey Tate; daughter, Kendra Tate; Loretta's sisters, Lorraine, Myra, and Judy; John's sister, Margaret; Loretta's brother, John; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Wednesday at Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi. Services and Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kimberly Tate Memorial Fund at the Bank of Stockton to help with travel expenses in traveling between Lodi and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Donahue Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
