I am so sick of these illegal immigrants that don't even know how to properly speak the English language!

Look at this one, he doesn't even understand the word "issue"!

Deport his foreign behind, that's what I say. Send him and his 15 kids back to Wales or Scotland or whatever other European fleabag country he crawled out of.

Learn English or get out, that's what I say!!!! "

" Sam, we are the dominant species and have domain over this planet. We need to protect it with our best technology. Sometimes we are going to make mistakes. Remaining in the dark ages for fear of temporarily making a mess of things is not the answer. We are an advancing species, we need to keep it that way. Nothing became extinct as a result of the Prince William Sound accident. The more oil we have to import to keep our economy rolling, the more will have to be put on ships for long journeys. Domestic drilling is the best answer for our economy, and the safest way to protect from spills. Too bad Obama lacks the knowledge to admit that. "

" Bob, I believe we are going to regret the oil spills occurring frequently in Alaska . The one in march 2006 was devastating. 267,000 gallons spilled onto Alaska's North Slope bordering the Arctic Ocean. It went on for 5 days before it was even detected.

The oil leaked from a quarter-inch (two-thirds of a centimeter) hole corroded in a BP pipeline.

Actually according to National Geographic, Price William Sound is still not cleaned up from the Exxon Valdez spill 1989.

We have some serious changes we need to make. Drilling more is not the correct choice. "

" Well gee, Bob "if" what you say is true, could this not also be the case (at least in part) as to why the oil companies have chosen not to drill on their present leases? To hear the libs put it, the big, bad oil tycoons just want to destroy the land and the environment in "new" places rather than go after the oil that "is" there (again, according to many "intelligent" liberals) under their current control. In a word, that’s preposterous.

Getting back to your original statement - that simply makes no sense. No one with half a brain would buy that flimsy argument. We've already built a tremendous pipeline in Alaska that has helped to bring us closer to independence from OPEC. We simply need to go after whatever oil we can while at the same time develop other energy alternatives.

ANWR is "off limits" to the environmentalists because of a fear of frightening some wildlife up there. It is a desolate place where no one visits. Regardless, we have developed the technology to drill responsibly with little to no impact on the environment. "Fear" is the left's only weapon in a pathetic arsenal. "

" According to most geologists (those not working for the administration), the oil in Alaska would need so much refinement to make it usuable for anything that it is just not cost effective to extract it. "

" Pricilla, do you realize that even if we "drill drill drill" in Alaska, it's not a bottomless well of oil, and we'll have to figure out something else to do for power someday? Or does it not matter to you, as you'll be dead then and leave it to your children to fix your mess? "
