Amans celebrate 55 years

Gordon and Yvonne Aman, of Elk Grove and formerly of Lodi, celebrated 55 years of marriage in July. They were married in July 1953 at First Baptist Church of Lodi.
The two were both raised in Lodi. Gordon graduated from Lodi High School in 1951, as well as Yvonne in 1953. The couple moved to Elk Grove 30 years ago. Gordon was employed by Western Electric for 25 years until his retirement. Yvonne was employed by Elk Grove Unified School District for 26 years until her retirement. Both are members of First Baptist Church of Elk Grove.
Their children are Craig Aman, of Lodi, Lynn Wagemann, of Elk Grove, and Lecia Fuchs, of Everette, Wash.; their grandchildren are Alaina Wagemann, Hilary Aman, Amanda Veach-Wagemann, Ian Wagemann, and Austin, Jerod and Trenton Fuchs; and they have two great-grandchildren.
The couple celebrated on a trip to Kings Point, N.Y., where they attended Alaina Wagemann's graduation from the Merchant Marine Academy.
