Luau on the Lawn
More than 150 people attended the Hutchins Street Square Foundation's Luau on the Lawn event on Aug. 15 at Hutchins Street Square.
Those who attended enjoyed appetizers, along with a no-host bar, food catered by A Touch of Mesquite, entertainment by Gypsy Express and a rubber ducky raffle. Proceeds of the event will benefit the square's swimming pool renovation.
Noreen Austin, one of the organizers of the event, felt the event was well-attended.
"Everyone I've talked to had a great time. There was great community spirit," she said.
